The Pastoral Council provides leadership, direction, and encouragement for the apostolic and spiritual development of all parishioners. The Council is comprised of the clergy and 10 members who serve three-year terms. Elections are held in March. Regular Parish Pastoral Council meetings are open to all parishioners and are held on the first Wednesday of the Month in the Parish Library.
Purpose & Function of Pastoral Council
An advisory and consultative body to the pastor regarding the spiritual affairs and growth of the parish
Leadership, coordination & implementing programs for all matters relating to the spiritual affairs of the church community
Structure of Pastoral Council
The Pastoral Council consists of ten elected members (five men & five women) and the pastor as an ex-officio member
Members are elected after candidates are considered by the nominating committee and a general election by the parish community takes place each spring. Elected members serve a term of three years
Pastoral Council meetings
Meetings are held once a month for a minimum of ten months each year
Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 P.M.
Regular Parish Pastoral Council meetings are open to parish community members
